Mark Borelli

Mark has been a resident of Naples since 1979 and of Park Shore since 1998. His current home was awarded the Park Shore Beautification Award in 2000. Mark serves as Vice President of Borelli Construction and is a Partner with Cabnu, LLC, a cabinet and storage solutions company that he started with his son Parker. He has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a Master’s of Science from Florida International University. Mark also holds a Florida General Contractors License and a Florida Real Estate Broker’s License.
Stan Karpf

Originally from Fairfield, Connecticut, Stan has maintained a residence in Naples for 20 years and has been a Naples resident since 2008. For the last 30 years, he has been an entrepreneur after founding Southport Sales and Marketing, an importer of cosmetic ingredients from China. Before that, he was a sales and marketing executive in the cosmetic and personal care industry. For 10 years, Stan served on the board of directors at The Monaco where he resides and was president for the last six. Additionally, he has served on various boards locally including the Gulf Shore Association of Condominiums (GSAC) where he currently is Vice President.
Laura Oscher

A full-time resident of Naples, Oscher retired after an extensive career in finance, including positions with Advo Inc. and McDonnell Douglas Corp., where she was responsible for budgets, P&L statements, financial planning, strategic planning, headcount reconciliation, database management, and working with banks, auditors and boards. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from San Diego State University. Oscher also has been involved in community service with such groups as the Naples Woman’s Club; Social Service Association of Ridgewood, N.J; Junior League of Bergen County; Boys & Girls Club and National Charity League. She has become active with the Park Shore Association, serving as a Block Captain and volunteering at social events.
Karen A. Rowan

As Senior Advisor to the Mayor of the City of Chicago and Chief Compliance Officer in the Department of Finance, Contract Review and Audit Division, Rowan has been providing strategies for contract performance and compliance monitoring to ensure the City gets what it pays for and obtains the maximum return on its $4 billion in contract spending. Karen retired from the Chicago Police Department after 22 years of service as a sworn officer and was later awarded "Woman With A Vision" by the Illinois Women's Bar Association. After moving to Durango, CO she worked as the Director of Compliance for Axis Health System, the largest provider of healthcare in southwest Colorado. A native of Chicago, she earned her B.A. from the National College of Education in Evanston, IL and her J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in IL and CO. Rowan and her husband have been residents of Park Shore since January 2016.
Suzanne Klym

Originally from a suburb of Cleveland, Klym and her husband worked their way to Florida by way of Virginia and North Carolina. She has been a Park Shore resident for nearly 16 years. Her children attended Sea Gate Elementary School where she served on the School Advisory Council for 6 years. Currently, Klym serves on the School Advisory Council at Gulfview Middle (where her youngest son is enrolled). She also is the Board for Girls on the Run of South West Florida, an after-school program for third to eighth grade girls. Klym has been a Realtor and State Certified Residential appraiser with John R. Wood Properties since 2012. Prior to that, she was a senior staff appraiser for Chubb insurance. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue University.
Amy Cartwright

Cartwright has been a resident of Park Shore since 2002. She attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned a BS in Economics. Her career started in pharmaceutical sales with Johnson & Johnson. A few years later, she transitioned into a career in commercial real estate in Chicago with Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler. Then, after several years in leasing and selling of industrial buildings, she was invited to work for a family self-storage business. As Acquisition Manager, she was responsible for acquiring over $100 million of self-storage in less than 18 months. Cartwright has been very involved in the local community and the Collier County Public School system while her children attended school at Seagate Elementary, Gulfview Middle and Naples High. She also has been a Block Captain for the Park Shore Association for more than 10 years. She maintains her Florida Real Estate license and currently manages a small portfolio of investment rental homes.
John A. Kraft, CFA

Kraft has more than 25 years of experience in financial services, payments and fintech, including investor relations, strategy, sell-side equity research, M&A, asset management and ESG investing. He is currently Senior Vice President, Finance and Strategy for ACI Worldwide in Naples, FL. Previously, he held investment management and finance roles at D.A. Davidson & Co. in Portland, OR and Bank of America in Seattle, WA. Kraft earned his B.A. in Economics and MBA from the University of Washington. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and two-time winner of The Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street” as a Wall Street analyst, Angel investor and board member. Kraft and his wife have been residents of the Naples area since 2013.
Michelle Lopez McLeod, M.B.A.

Michelle is a third generation Floridian, raised in Fort Myers. Upon graduating from Fort Myers High School, Michelle attended St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana and later earned an MBA from Florida Gulf Coast University. For more than 25 years, Michelle has lived and worked in the City of Naples. Michelle’s experiences range from 25 years in the hotel industry, six years in banking and four years as an elected city councilwoman for the City of Naples. Michelle currently serves on the boards of the Women’s Foundation of Collier County, Collier Coalition for Healthy Minds and Collier County Community Land Trust. She is a proud graduate of Leadership Collier and Leadership Florida. Michelle enjoys running, cycling, swimming and competing in athletic events. She also enjoys cooking and hosting dinner parties at her home.
Ellen Seigel

Ellen and her husband, Dr. Art Seigel, moved to Park Shore in 2004 and has volunteering for many religious and community organizations. Ellen is a previous Park Shore Association board member, serving as Membership Chair and President. Ellen was elected to Naples City Council in 2016 and served a four-year term. Before that, she served on the City’s Planning Advisory Board. She founded The Park Shore Fund, a charitable fund of the Community Foundation of Collier County dedicated to enhancing the Park Shore neighborhood. Prior to moving to Naples, Ellen had a career in the healthcare field working for three Connecticut HMOs.
Jo Ann Smallwood

A long-time resident of Naples, JoAnn Smallwood is President of Smallwood Design, a professional consulting firm focused on landscape design, project administration and management. JoAnn has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami and is a graduate of the Leadership Collier program. JoAnn holds several professional affiliations and has been actively involved in numerous business and not-for-profit organizations throughout the community. She has received in excess of 150 honors and awards from organizations, including being honored as a Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida Business Leadership Hall of Fame Laureate.
Carole Trimmer

Carole has been a permanent resident of Park Shore since 2004 and a Block Captain for six years. In 1970, she received her BFA degree from Layton School of Art - Milwaukee, Wis. She spent more than 30 years in management of non-union and union personnel. Employers have included advertising agencies, corporations and government. Carole retired from Milwaukee County in 2004. She later was employed as the Foundation Administrator for Moorings Park in Naples. In 2011, she received her Florida CAM license. Carole previously was employed as an Assistant Building Manager for a high-rise condominium on Gulf Shore Boulevard North.
Nancy E. Walkenhorst

Walkenhorst has been coming to Naples since 1993 when her parents purchased a home here and became a full-time resident in 2016. After graduating from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, cum laude, she was a Professor of Nursing at Missouri Southern State College and then started a consulting business to assist hospitals with meeting continuing education goals for their staff. Walkenhorst retired from nursing in 1986. She and her husband were one of three couples that started Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School, a K-12 private school of 325 children in Joplin, Mo. Currently, she is a member and Deacon of First Presbyterian Church of Naples and volunteers at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s von Arx Wildlife Hospital.
